Quilting Bliss At Our Friday Quiltapalooza!

Spring has finally sprung, and it’s time for lots of folks to come out of hibernation.  Whenever I do my spring cleaning, I always find what seems like dozens of projects in process. In quilters’  parlance, these are UFOs (unfinished objects). For some quilters, these are fabric manifestations of ADHD. For others, they are just proof of the oversupply of creativity that we suffer from and glory in. I’m currently in a finishing frenzy where I’m trying to reduce the oversupply of creativity that is stacked up in my studio. If you are a quilter with a few unfinished items, why not point your feet to the Mt. Airy Art Garage for April’s Quiltapalooza? You can use those four glorious hours of uninterrupted quilting time to make headway on an old project that is calling your name. Or you could start a new project in the form of a string quilt. Our bottomless boxes of beautiful fabric scraps are beckoning to you. Join us for an evening of quilting, conversation and community. Friday, April 18th from 6 to 10 pm, $15 at the door ($10 for MAAG members). Don’t miss it.
