Mt. Airy Art Garage is having a Call for Artists

February 14 – March 8, 2021

Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 3, 11:59 PM

The Mt. Airy Art Garage (MAAG) invites its member artists to submit their art for “Love: An Art Exhibit,” happening from February 14 – March 26, 2021 at the new home of MAAG, 7054 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19119.

What does Love mean to you? With everything we’ve seen in the past year, love is more important than ever. We’re asking our members to think about what love means to them. Love for others, yourself, family, your community, nature, the possibilities are endless! All we ask is that you show us your love, because sometimes love is all you need.

We encourage artists to submit up to two (2) pieces of work to be on display and for sale in this upcoming exhibit.

Submissions:

To apply, send images.maag@gmail.com the following (All items can be sent via snail mail as well):

  • MAAG’s Submission Form
  • Up to 2 JPG images (300 dpi) of your work. Be advised that submitted images may be used by MAAG for advertising and marketing if the work is accepted
  • $20 Fee per entry, which can be sent via PayPal
  • Artist Bio/Statement describing the work submitted and a paragraph about the artist

Due Dates:

  • Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 3, 11:59 PM  (Notification of Acceptance: Friday, February 5)
  • Artist Pick-Up: March 27 – 28 at Mt. Airy Art Garage, 7054 Germantown Ave
  • Delivery Dates: February 5 – February 10 at Mt. Airy Art Garage, 7054 Germantown Ave

MAAG assumes no liability for any damage that may occur during the exhibit and is not responsible for any artwork left past the pickup date.
