We’re celebrating the artists of MAAG with our 2023 Members’ Art Show, happening January 29 – February 17, 2023, in the Solomon Levy Gallery, located at 7054 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119. This annual show honors MAAG members and celebrates the range and diversity of the Philadelphia area’s creative community.
The art show is exclusively for current MAAG members, who are invited to submit work that reflects their recent creative endeavors. Artists who wish to be in the show may join or renew a membership at this time. As a perk to our members, the show will not be juried and there is no fee. However, we still require that a submission form, JPG images of the work, and an artist statement/bio be provided by Friday, January 20.
MAAG serves as an incubator for professional and emerging artists who work in creative partnerships with local adults and youth to spread the spirit of art, community, and sustainable living throughout Northwest Philadelphia.
All age groups are welcome, and all skill levels, whether professional or emerging, are accepted. Artists may submit one (1) artwork that was created during the past two years. All mediums are accepted, including handcrafts and fine art, 2- and 3-dimensional art. All 2-dimensional art must be ready-to-hang. Artwork improperly presented and/or found unfit to hang may not be exhibited. The art show will be hung salon style.

Submissions:
To submit, send to [email protected] the following (all items can also be sent via snail mail or hand-delivered):
- Submission Form
- 1-2 JPG images (300 dpi) of the work. (Submitted images may be used for promoting the show.)
- Artist Bio/Statement describing the work submitted and a paragraph about the artist.
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline: Friday, January 20, 2023
- Artwork Delivery Dates: January 20-22, 2023, (Fri. & Sat. noon-6 PM, Sun. noon-5 PM)
- Opening Reception: Friday, February 3, 2023, 5-7 PM
- Artwork Pick-up Dates: Feb. 18-19, 2023, (Sat. noon-6 PM, Sun. noon-5 PM)
