Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day Exhibition
#Embrace Equity

March 3 – April 14, 2023

The Mt. Airy Art Garage (MAAG) invites women artists in Philadelphia and surrounding areas to submit artwork for the exhibition, #Embrace Equity, happening March 3 – April 14, 2023, in the Solomon Levy Gallery at 7054 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119.

International Women’s Day is a worldwide celebration of social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Since 1911 women have been rallying for equality, gender parity and building together in collective activism. Worldwide, this year’s theme is “Embrace Equity”.

MAAG invites submissions from artists who are expressing the themes of equity/equality, feminism, woman power and accomplishments. Artists are encouraged to submit up to two (2) pieces of art to be on display and for sale in this upcoming exhibition. All work must be framed and ready to hang. This is a juried exhibition.

• Submission Form
• Up to 2 JPG images (300 dpi) of your work. Be advised that submitted images may be used by MAAG for advertising and marketing if the work is accepted.
• Entry Fee per piece submitted: $15, which can be paid below, sent via PayPal, snail mail or hand-delivered.
• Artist Bio/Statement describing the work submitted and a paragraph about the artist.
