Photograph by Charles EdwardsI was born and raised in the city of Brotherly Love. I am a Marine Corp veteran, a graduate of Arcadia University, and the proud father of two. Gordon Parks and Ansel Adams are my artistic role models.

I choose black and white photography because each photo is much more than just black and white. I want my viewers to see how much variety and beauty there is in the absence of color. My work subjects the viewer, to their own interpretation of contrast, shadows, horizontal and vertical lines to pull what you are looking at and what you see, together.

With my work, I hope to create an environment where: to enjoy/understand the message, seeing has to override just looking.
