We are an aunt and niece jewelry design team who create handcrafted jewelry using semiprecious gemstones, pearls, crystals, glass beads and beads made from other materials. Our goal is to experiment with a wide variety of beads and findings along with putting into practice new techniques as we master them and continue evolving creatively.
Originally, we took jewelry classes in order to host jewelry making parties for our nieces and great nieces. Initially, we learned the basics and completed bracelet and earring projects; and before the first class ended, we realized how much we enjoyed making jewelry. Since then, we’ve continue to attend classes, read books and magazines, and talk with fellow crafters. Attending our first King of Prussia Bead Show was the irresistible icing on the cake, and we have been hooked ever since!
It’s been several years since we started designing and crafting jewelry; and we still enjoy shopping for product, bouncing ideas off of one another and creating new and interesting designs. As little girls, we played dress-up and made jewelry out of plastic colored Pop-Beads. Now we find that making jewelry relaxing and enjoy the wide range of materials to choose from.
