Cost: $100 ($25 per Class)
Minimum 4 students, Maximum 8 students

Students will explore the art of dramatic writing using a variety of activities, games and techniques. Students will develop new short plays. The workshop will conclude with a virtual staged reading of the plays. This class welcomes writers, actors and individuals who want an exciting collaborative outlet for self-expression.

Kyle Metzger is a theatre director, producer and educator. He has directed productions Off-Broadway and regionally; recent directing credits include Murder for Two (Playhouse on Park – Hartford CT), Of Mice and Men, The Game’s Afoot (Monomoy Theatre – Chatham MA) Macbeth, Twelfth Night (Stages on the Sound, NYC). As Producing Artistic Director of The Glass Eye theatre company, Kyle has directed and produced new plays and touring Shakespeare productions. Kyle holds an MFA in Directing from UNC Greensboro and a BFA in Music Theatre from The Hartt School. As an educator Kyle has taught acting, directing, and script analysis courses at UNCG, and led Shakespeare workshops with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company and Stages on the Sound.
