COVID-19 Notice
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, we were informed that someone at the Mt. Airy Art Garage (MAAG) has been exposed to COVID-19.
Effective immediately, we are closing our building at 7054 Germantown Ave until Saturday, December 12, 2020.
If you were at the MAAG building between November 30 and December 5, we encourage you to take preventive measures including getting a COVID-19 test and quarantining yourself for up to 10 days based on CDC guidelines.
MAAG takes this seriously, and in turn we are taking the following steps:
- Closing the building to everyone for a week after notice of the initial exposure.
- The building will be aired out with the HVAC system running to disperse and remove as much COVID-19 from the air as possible.
- Any and all communal surfaces in the building will be cleaned thoroughly.
- We are alerting as many people as possible who came into the building about the situation.
MAAG is dedicated to helping artists all across Philadelphia, and that includes protecting their health and well being. We look forward to reopening soon and as safely as possible.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
The Mt. Airy Art Garage
